Grama Panchayats are the local self-governments at the village level in India. They implement various central and state government schemes to promote rural development, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and livelihoods.

- MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act)
- Provides 100 days of guaranteed wage employment per year.
- Focus on unskilled manual work in rural areas.
- PMAY-G (Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin)
- Housing scheme for rural poor.
- Assistance for building pucca houses with basic amenities.
- Swachh Bharat Mission – Gramin
